About Jaipur
Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and the gateway to the Golden Triangle, is known as the Pink City — its old city walls and major buildings were painted terracotta-pink in 1876 to welcome the Prince of Wales. Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, it was India's first planned city, laid out on a grid system with streets aligned to cardinal directions. The walled city holds remarkable architectural treasures: the Amber Fort (begun 1592), the Nahargarh Fort, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds, 1799), City Palace, Jantar Mantar (UNESCO World Heritage astronomical observatory), and Jal Mahal (Water Palace). Beyond heritage, Jaipur is a world-class shopping destination for blue pottery, block-printed textiles, gemstones, silver jewellery, and traditional Rajasthani handicrafts. The city is also the third vertex of the Golden Triangle, alongside Delhi and Agra.

How to reach Jaipur
Jaipur International Airport has direct flights from Delhi (50 minutes), Mumbai (1.5 hours), and other major cities, as well as some international connections. By train, the Shatabdi Express from Delhi Cantt covers the 270 km in 4.5 hours; several overnight trains also serve the route. By road, Jaipur is 280 km from Delhi via NH48 (4–5 hours) and 240 km from Agra (3.5–4 hours), making it ideal for a Golden Triangle circuit. Our packages include airport/railway station pickup.
